My sona
I really had to push myself to write this page. I am notoriously afraid of creating, and a text description of a fursona is pretty up there on the list of “embarrassing things to create.” But let’s kill the cringe, I want to tell you about my sona.
Statistics
- Name: Cooper Drogón Tores Váquez (they/them)
- Surnames: Tores Váquez
- NB: Not ‘Torres Vásquez’
- Those are actual surnames and my surnames are funny animal puns, which I will leave as an exercise to the reader.
- Names: Cooper Drogón
- Cooper is a reference to William Cowper, the Anglican hymnodist, whose surname is pronounced Cooper (/ˈkuːpər/). Cowper dealt with depression for most of his life and spent a long time in mental hospitals. I admire him a lot for this. My favorite of his hymns is Olney Hymns IX
- Drogón is a reference to St. Drogo of Sebourg, patron saint of the mentally ill, cattle, and coffee.
- Surnames: Tores Váquez
- Species: Bos taurus × Bison bison (Mixed bison and domestic cattle)
- Cooper is about ¾ cattle, ¼ bison
- They still have the cape, though, because it looks cool
- Early thirties, 170 cm (5′10″), 115 kg (260 lbs)
Where’s the art?
I’m not a great artist. I’ve drawn a refsheet for Cooper, which I’ll show you if you ask politely, but allow me the indulgence of hiding from it for now…
